Cannes – We are not one to complain about the length of a film. The director can exert an artistic influence, especially with the pacing and structure. Often, a longer work of cinema can have a more profound effect on an audience than cutting to the bone to create a favorite runtime. sadly it is not Wang Bing ambitious documentary “Youth (Spring)” which debuted at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this week.
