Enfield stated that Bronie’s high basketball IQ, skill set and defensive tools would allow him to compete for key minutes in their rotation.
When Enfield first saw Brouni, he said he thought he would fit in at the collegiate level because he was a great teammate who always lifted his team up. He’s also surrounded by key players that will allow him to mature as a player without the burden of immediately assuming a key role.
“All of our guards have had a good chance to play for us because we don’t have a lot of guards,” Enfield said. “We don’t have an eight or a nine. We have some opportunity for those guys to play a good role for him, and in Brony’s case, we don’t promise a starting spot, but the good thing is I think That all of our guards will play good minutes for us this year.”
Broni led Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) to a 23–11 record as a senior. His father has been open about his desire to play with him in the NBA, which has increased the scrutiny surrounding Broni in what could be his first and only collegiate season.
