Once back above ground, Ted is called into Rebecca’s office.
She yells at him, “I’m upset because my team is projected to finish this season,” and my manager decides to skip training and take our players to the f–king sewers.
When Ted tells Rebecca he’s not planning Responding to Nate’s comment aboutShe urges him to stand up for himself and his team.
“I’m begging you, please,” she says. “Counterattack”.
However, at his own pre-season press conference, Ted does not take his advice and instead calls Nate’s comment “hilarious”, leaving the press room laughing with his cheesy, albeit cheesy, sense of American humor.
Off the field and away from the office, Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keely address the elephant in the room: their relationship. At the end of season two, the couple revealed that they were going to spend their respective summers apart from each other.
In conversation with Roy’s niece Phoebe (elodie blomfield), they don’t shorten words.
“We broke up,” Roy tells her, while Keely assures Phoebe that the two of them will still be friends.

Back home, Ted calls Henry on FaceTime to ask about his flight. During the call, Henry reveals a light-up Thanos hand similar to the Thanos hand worn by the MCU villain avengers: infinity war,
“Jake gave it to me,” Henry tells his father, to which Ted replies, “Who’s Jake?”
“Mummy’s friend,” Henry says, causing Ted’s face to drop.
Suddenly he has more than last place in the league to worry about.
