The Idol is a brand new series from Euphoria creators Sam Levinson, The Weeknd and Reza Faheem. The show stars Jocelyn and Tedros as Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd.
The official synopsis for the drama series reads: “After a nervous breakdown derails Jocelyn’s previous tour, she is determined to claim her rightful status as the greatest and sexiest pop star in America. Her passion Ruled by Tedros, a nightclub impresario with a sordid past. Will his romantic awakening lead him to glorious new heights or to the darkest and darkest depths of his soul?
The Idol will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival before debuting June 4 on HBO. The series also stars Troye Sivan, Dan Levy, Da’avin Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Neff, Jane Adams, Jenny Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, Moses Sumney, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Susanna Son and Hank Azaria.
