The iShares US Regional Banks ETF is seeing unusually high volume in Monday afternoon trading, with more than 2.8 million shares traded, compared to a three-month average volume of about 135,000. IAT shares were down about 13.4% on the day.
The constituent of that ETF with the most volume on Monday was First Republic Bank, which is trading down about 65.7% with over 71.7 million shares traded so far this session, and up about 28.6% on a volume of over 64.3 million shares. Keycorp is closed. United Bankshare was Monday’s best component, rising about 6.4% on the day.
