MMA Fighters, Twitter React Massively To PFL Signing Of Francis Ngannou

the wait is over. Now we know what Francis Ngannou is doing next… sort of.

The PFL confirmed that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion had signed following an initial report from the NY Times. Despite his signing, he will not make his debut until mid-2024 and many wonder if he will try boxing before then.

After the news was announced, fans took to Twitter to react.

With one of the most marketable sports in Muay Thai/Kickboxing, the US market is pressing. The PFL signed Cedric Doumbe and Francis Ngannou. On a nice decline, with a terrific run on the UFC cards.
The landscape of combat sports will change drastically in the next 5 years.

The exact terms of his deal have not been confirmed, but he will partner with the PFL to help develop PFL Africa, and whoever he fights will be guaranteed at least $2 million.
