‘Mama June: Family Crisis’ recap: Pumpkin worries about June re-hospitalizing medication

She’s back! brand new season of Mama June: Family Crisis Begins May 5 on VTV, and once again, june ,Mama June” ShannonHas been dealing with a lot of drama – most of which he caused himself (obviously). at the beginning of season 6 premiere, June revealed that she and Justin Stroud Got married after only six months of dating. She proposed to him while he was in prison, dealing with a probation violation, and they are now living in Alabama, after tying the knot for the first time in a civil ceremony.

June has also been dealing with a number of health issues, which she opened up about during their breakfast date with Justin. But it’s not what you think – he just doesn’t like the way they got married and the timing of it all. “This is not how I wanted it to go, like, this whole wedding, you know,” she told him. “And how it went down is, like, not what I wanted. “To be honest with you, I was devastated emotionally. I was going through some things. Life is not where I wanted to be at the time. You know, I just recently got out of rehab. And just I wasn’t in it emotionally in June,” he continued.

June feared Justin wanted a divorce — especially because of his ongoing health issues — but said he didn’t mean to. He just wanted to celebrate their love in a big way, so he told her that he wanted to have a big wedding ceremony to celebrate their marriage. And she couldn’t be happier to hear that. However, their emotional high doesn’t last too long as by the end of the episode, June is rushed to the hospital.

The doctors were only running tests until this week’s episode ended, but when June shared the news with her daughter, Pumpkin, Pumpkin assumed she was on drugs again. However, Jun insists that he has not used drugs in the last three years.

Interestingly, Pumpkin only found out about June’s health issues after she called her mother asking for child support money. Pumpkin and Passion now raising five children, and receiving $800 a month in child support for Alana. June missed the most recent payment during this week’s episode, so Pumpkin calls her and learns about June’s hospitalization. But that’s not all – Pumpkin is shocked to hear that June and Justin moved to Alabama without telling anyone. June said she had “business” to take care of, but Pumpkin thought it sounded suspicious.

And Doubt – Mama June’s Second Daughter, jessica, Looks like someone is hiding a new relationship. She moved into his place with a female “roommate”, and when Pumpkins showed up unannounced, Jessica quickly hid all of her personal photos and a card that came with the bouquet of flowers. In her confession, Jessica said she wasn’t ready to tell Pumpkins why she’s been so secretive about her personal life, so we’ll have to see how that plays out as the season progresses.
