Birmingham, Ala. – The University of Chicago indoor track and field teams wrapped up the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday with two more All-American awards.
In the final team standings, the Maroon women finished sixth overall at the two-day national meet.
simon dixon An All-American honor was added to his stellar indoor season. The UChicago rookie finished third in the men’s shot put with a top throw of 17.07 meters.
The competition included four maroons in the women’s 3,000 metres. maddy kelly The national runner-up for her second All-American award of the weekend – she equaled her own school record with a time of 9:30.34.
