JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon will be ousted in late May over two days of civil lawsuit alleging profiteering at giant bank sex trafficking by late money manager jeffrey epsteina source told CNBC emon javers on Wednesday.

A person with knowledge of Dimon’s statement said, “Scheduling is fluid and subject to change.”
The government of the US Virgin Islands and one of Epstein’s accusers are suing JPMorgan in US District Court in Manhattan. The bank has denied any wrongdoing.
Epstein had been a client of JPMorgan for years. Banks broke up with her in 2013, five years after he pleaded guilty in Florida state court to having sex with an underage girl.
“Jamie Dimon knew in 2008 that his billionaire client was a sex traffickers,“a lawyer for the Virgin Islands said at a court hearing in March.
The bank has said that Dimon did not have information about Epstein that was related to the lawsuits.
In addition to attorneys for the Virgin Islands and Epstein’s accuser, Dimon will be questioned by attorneys for former JPMorgan investment banking chief Jess Staley.
JP Morgan argues that Staley, not the bank, is legally responsible for any civil liability related to its dealings with Epstein.
On Wednesday, lawyers in the lawsuit were set to oust William Langford, who previously as JPMorgan’s top executive was responsible for anti-money laundering efforts, financial crimes compliance and regulatory management.
The Virgin Islands lawsuit claims that JPMorgan “facilitated and concealed wire and cash transactions that raised suspicions that — and were in fact — part of a criminal enterprise whose currency was used by dozens of women and children in and outside the Virgin Islands.” The girls were meant for sexual service.”
“Human trafficking was [principal] business of accounts created by Epstein at JPMorgan,” the suit says.
Epstein killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019, a month after being arrested on federal child sex trafficking charges.
He was friends with the first two former presidents, Donald Trump And Bill Clintonand Britain’s Prince Andrew, as well as a group of other rich and powerful people.
