Genshin Impact Update 3.7 Adds Cards, Combat Challenges, And A Catgirl

Genshin Impact Update 3.7 is coming and it’s bringing a huge TCG event and a new Sword User character.

The King of Invocation Grand Prix begins. You can play four different TCG-themed mini-games in the event. Even if you’re not interested in getting into Genshin Impact’s TCG “Genius Invocation”, there may still be things that will interest you.

You can duel in informal tournaments, “Zero Hour Invocations”, and play with a few chosen cards. In “Avermotion Mechanical Painting”, you can solve gear-based puzzles to earn rewards. The “Heart of the Dice” minigame features elements from TCGs in Genshin’s battles and elemental mechanics. The final minigame, “A Tour of Wonders”, allows you to go on a tour, clearing out enemies and picking up commemorative tickets along the way. Completing event challenges earns you rewards, including a four-star Ibis Piercer Bow. Fittingly, the Genius Invocation TCG is getting a major update with over 60 new cards, including over 10 new character cards (such as the four Archons).

The update also drops a new character: Kirara, the four-star Dendro sword user. This package delivery catgirl can wield claws and yokai powers. Her primary skill can create Dendro Shield after a Flying Kick or Dendro can transform into “Urgent Neko Parcel” to deal damage and move faster. His Elemental Burst explodes into Dendro Bombs that deal additional damage.

Lastly, the update offers a new story quest for Yoimiya and a hangout event for Kev. You can also engage in various new combat challenges. Update 3.7 will be released on May 24.
