(RTTNews) – Norwegian petroleum company Equinor ASA (EQNR) said Michael Lewis will resign from his position as a member of the board of directors at the company as of March 16, 2023 in order to avoid a potential conflict of interest following. His appointment as CEO in Uniper SE.
Equinor said Lewis’s start date as CEO at Uniper SE has not yet been announced.
Equinor said it would begin the search for a new board member to allow by-elections to the corporate assembly once the nomination committee’s recommendation is ready. Jarle Roth is the chairman of the Nomination Committee at Equinor.
