GameSpot contacted Activision for a statement and received the following:
“Until confirmation, most online stores only list placeholders or estimated launch dates. We couldn’t be more excited about bringing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile to gamers around the world and while we still In the limited release phase, development is on track. And we expect a global release later this year.”
While Activision’s statement doesn’t confirm a specific timeline, it does clarify that the game is set to release in 2023 and that development is progressing as expected.
