Vacation = Travel = Fun Time! Whether the distance is short or long or the destination is hilly or beach or just an adventurous trek, traveling is always exciting. Traveling, even if it is sometimes for work, is a beautiful experience. But if you get too careless about taking care of your hair and skin while traveling, you might end up spoiling it!

New places, new weather, dietary restrictions and the stress of traveling can take a toll on your skin and hair. This can result in dull hair days, breakouts, acne flare-ups, dry lips, tan lines and more problems. However, you need not worry because skin and hair are not a tough task during travel.

1. Research the Weather

Don’t make guesses about the weather and climate when moving to a new place. Read about it and note it down. Your choice of moisturiser, face wash, shampoo and sunscreen and even the makeup you carry with you depends on whether the weather is cool, rainy or dry. 2. Follow your regular skincare routine even on holidays

Skin and hair cells never go on a break and hence there should be no break in your skincare routine either. A consistent routine is the key to happy hair and skin days. Carry your regular skin care products in travel-size bottles to avoid spillage and the weight of luggage.

3. You only need the essentials

You don’t need to bring your dresser everywhere. Carry essentials like cleanser, toner, moisturiser, night cream and sunscreen. Also, do not forget to carry disposable makeup wipes to remove makeup.

4. Do keep moisturizer in your purse

Hydrate your skin with a moisturizer before flying or driving with the air conditioner on. Keep reapplying it to keep the skin hydrated. 5. Carry toner

6. Stay Hydrated

9. Keep hair tied

We know it’s tempting to let your hair blow and take those celebrity-like selfies and pictures, but they might not be doing your hair any good. Constant exposure to strong wind can damage your hair. The wind carries with it the particles that cause dirt and greasy skull, clogged pores and tangled hair that becomes prone to breakage. Tie your hair in a bun or ponytail to avoid damage.

10. Keep Makeup Basic

There is a danger of falling down by applying too much makeup and dirt gets trapped in it. Also, if you are not able to remove it, it can lead to breakouts. skin pigmentation, dry skin and even fine lines. You don’t want that. So keep makeup to a minimum.

11. Avoid Using Hotel Cosmetics

Your skin is unique and needs specific products and unknown cosmetics are not going to help your skin and hair. They are often not of high quality and are made for general use. Your skin or scalp may react adversely to the product. Therefore, do not use these products unless necessary. Or read the ingredients carefully before use.
