‘A Small Light’ is a new limited series based on the inspiring true story of Meep Gees, played by Bell Powley. She takes a risk when Otto Frank asks her to help hide his family from the Nazis during WWII. For the next two years, she and her devoted husband, Jan, watched the Frank, Van Pels and Pfeiffer families hide in a secret annexe, along with many other everyday heroes.
Liev Schreiber plays Otto Frank. The cast also includes Amira Kaiser as Edith Frank, Margot and Anne’s mother; Billy Boulet as Anne Frank; Ashley Brooke as Margot Frank, Anne’s older sister; Andy Nyman as Herman van Pels, Caroline Katz as Auguste van Pels, Rudy Goodman as Peter van Pels and Noah Taylor as Dr. Fritz Pfeiffer, all of whom were hiding in the annex with the Frank family; and Eleanor Tomlinson as Tess, Miep’s best friend.
