1. Juice Cleanse

Juice cleanses are technically very low in calories. Hence, indulging in this type of diet can really make you tired and make you irritable.

2. Skipping Meals

It is not advisable to starve yourself throughout the day just to lose weight or look slim. Losing weight is a gradual process that takes months.

3. Following fad diets

We all need to stick to the fad diets we see on social media or the internet to lose those last few stubborn pounds. However, these diets are not nutritious for the body and deprive you of sufficient energy.

4. Trying New Foods

Experimenting with new foods is strictly prohibited in the days leading up to your wedding. You could have an upset stomach or an allergic reaction.

5. Cut down on carbohydrates or fats from your diet

5 Pre-Wedding Skincare Changes To Avoid

1. Trying New Treatments

There are chemical peels, micro-needling and many other treatments that can be tried before the wedding to get rid of pigmentation or acne scars. However, everyone’s skin reacts differently. It is not advisable to undergo these treatments as it is difficult to predict the recovery time. Instead, one should consult a dermatologist who can recommend a treatment that will be suitable as per the timeline and still provide your desired glow to your skin.

2. Changing Your Skincare Routine

as part of you pre wedding skincare routine, you may be tempted to try new skin care products. Women do this because the stress and constant hustle and bustle to meet the arrangements can lead to a range of concerns. However, you never know how your skin might react to those new products. So it is better to avoid such changes.

3. Exfoliating the skin excessively

While exfoliation is recommended to get rid of dirt and other bacteria that can settle on your skin, exfoliating your skin too often can do more harm than good.

5. Squeezing Your Pimples

Popping your pimples can leave some unsightly scars behind. So, resist the urge to pop your pimples and let them heal on their own.
